The second door being reinforced and repaired with new wood where the door latch will be attached. The vertical edge was not well attached to the rest of the door due in part to the layout of the T&G joints. A long pipe clamp was used to squeeze the door back together, interlocking the T&G joints. C-clamps were used to hold the face block and back-side plank on tight while through bolts and wood screws were installed. Earlier, a longer pipe clamp was used on the diagonal of the door to draw opposite corners together and thereby square up the door.
